Important for all Merchants: All video and banner advertisements submitted to the EcoFamilies platform are reviewed to maintain a safe, trusted, family-friendly marketplace.
1. Core Content Principles
- Family-Friendly Environment: All video and banner advertisements must be appropriate for audiences of all ages, including children and families.
- Positive and Ethical Imagery: Visuals and messaging must promote safety, respect, inclusivity, and community-minded values.
- Environmental Alignment: Given the "Eco" focus, ads are strongly encouraged to highlight sustainability, eco-friendly practices, and socially responsible products or services.
2. Prohibited Content and Material
- Adult and Sensitive Content: No profanity, nudity, sexual references, violence, or gore.
- Dangerous Products: No promotion of tobacco, alcohol, vaping, weapons, gambling, illegal drugs, or adult-only services.
- Hate Speech and Harassment: Zero tolerance for content that discriminates against race, religion, gender, nationality, age, or disability.
- Misleading Claims: No deceptive pricing, false product claims, or unverified environmental claims ("greenwashing").
3. Intellectual Property and Compliance
- Copyright Authorization: Merchants must own or hold explicit legal rights to all music, images, videos, and logos used in their ads.
- Trademark Protection: Advertisements must not infringe on the trademarks or intellectual property of third-party brands.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ads must comply with all local advertising standards, consumer protection laws, and data privacy regulations.
4. Technical and Quality Requirements
- High Resolution Only: Banner ads must use clean text and clear graphics, avoiding blurry or heavily pixelated imagery.
- Professional Audio and Video: Video ads must feature clear audio and stable visual formatting tailored to mobile screen dimensions.
- No Disruptive Elements: Flashy, strobing visuals or excessively loud, jarring audio clips are strictly prohibited.
5. Review, Enforcement, and Right to Reject
- Pre-Approval Right: EcoFamilies reserves the absolute right to review, approve, or reject any banner or video advertisement before it goes live.
- Immediate Takedown: We retain the authority to remove any active advertisement instantly if it receives valid user complaints or violates these guidelines.
- Account Action: Frequent or severe violations of these guidelines may result in the permanent suspension of a merchant’s advertising privileges and forfeiture of unspent ad credits.
